Vielmehr ging es dem auf Mallorca geborenen K\u00fcnstler darum, das Wesen eines solchen &#8211; einer allgemeing\u00fcltigen Ikone gleich &#8211; abzubilden. Archaische Fundst\u00fccke aus dem Mittelmeerraum m\u00f6gen hierf\u00fcr ebenso als Inspiration gedient haben, wie etruskische Zeichnungen und Skulpturen des 20. Jahrhunderts.<\/p><p>Mit seinen patinierten Stier- und Pferdeplastiken aus Bronze oder Gusseinsen ist Carlos Mata in internationalen Sammlungen vertreten. Stets arbeitete er mit Grundformen, hebt nicht Volumen sondern stilisierte Linien hervor und reduziert seine Figuren so auf ihre Silhouetten. Seine flachen, f\u00fcr die Betrachtung im Profil geschaffenen Tierplastiken erhalten auf diese Weise beinahe den Charakter von dreidimensionalen Zeichnungen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-14a8e64b animation_type_block sc_fly_static elementor-widget
